I also airbrush and screen print. One of...if not the biggest names in the world of airbrushing is Terry Hill. I was lucky enough to take his class last week in orlando. He asked what type of products I made and I said rhinestone shirts also. He said do you know about The Rhinestone world? I said yes, we talked rhinestones for a while and about Matts videos and how helpful they were. Terry is one of the best teachers I have had the privilege to study with. Since TWR was the only site we talked about... I would conclude, they are on the top of the list for people in the "know" as well with people who are just getting started.

more stuff... I want to combine airbrush and rhinestones would have to do painting first then stones, the paint turns into a acrylic plastic when heatset, I need to see if stones will stick to it.

I also want to try sublimation, needs to be done on poly shirts but could put down a tranfer then stone around it.

pics are low res, i lost a lot of detail when posting.

Way cool! Check to see if you have to have to make holes in the designs and what the different tempatures are so nothing melts and ruins your press.

I will have to do some test shirts, would hate to try to mask the painting with holes for stones but, I heat set the shirts at 325 for about 15 seconds so may be I can do stones at the same time. I would have to see if there are adhesion issues . Or else doing a set design and outlining with stones??? Is interesting possibility. I also was thinking about glitter vinyl just as accents. Lots of possibilities.
Thanks for the ideas take care.

Not sure what type ink you use with the air brush but stones don't adhere to screen print ink. Stones stick to dye sub on all poly shirts because it adheres to the fabric. Your work is very good and would love to see the mixed media once you figure it out. Best of luck

I have a great source. They have a couple options of dye sub sheets and have no minimums. They ship quick and everything I've done with them has been great. I have attached one sample. The only down side is if you have white in your design you have to use white poly shirts. White is recommended for all dye sub but I have used light color poly shirts that have dark designs. Send me an email and I'll give you all the contact information. I know all the right people that make it happen. They start at like $1.19 for a sheet which covers my press. Think the sheets are 18x22. Rhinestones@embarqmail.com is my contact email
