More car decal questions

Does anyone have thoughts on a car decal with vinyl background with an overlay of bling? For example, maybe a tiger print vinyl with a bling design or bling monogram overlay?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Snap,

Rhinestones don't stick to vinyl... You would have to cut holes in the right places in ur vinyl to place the stones directly on it... It's a lot of work and a PITA Im sure

Wouldn't the decal material be sticking to the vinyl and not the rhinestones sticking to the vinyl? Vinyl is a smooth surface so I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'm sure you would have to sell it as a two step application process but it might look pretty cool. I bet a hologram vinyl behind a rhinestone design would add more bling to the decal.

I too am pretty sure it is a 2 step process. Vinyl first, rhinestone decal applied second.

Sorry, I guess I miss understood. Thought they were wanting to stick the stones to the actual vinyl

Yes it is a 2 step process. Apply the vinyl then the decal right over. If I get a chance I make one and post a pic since I am making decals this am.

Can someone provide the name of the vendor for the car decal material? I believe I understood that TRW does not sell it. Correct?

Thanks,

Scott at www.rhinestondesignz.com sells the stickOn material. He is our winpc guru here in the forum.
